Mel isn't just our CEO; she's a social worker, entrepreneur, multi-award winner, author and educator! Back in 2009 she created SCS to fill a crucial gap in foster care assessment services and today has a team of over 75 highly skilled leaders, managers, practitioners, individualised placement support workers, trainers and support team who all share her passion and drive to improve the outcomes for children and young people in care.
